She has taught in schools of nursing and has many years of practice in various settings. She is also approved by the Texas Board of Nursing to teach stipulation and remedial courses for nurses. Her roles have included staff nurse, consultant, adjunct faculty, advanced practice nurse, and administrator in various settings.
