Counseling and Communicating with the Elderly
Course Code: 30-A
As baby boomers age, we are seeing more graying of America. This program will address the issues and concerns of the older adult and those providing their care. It will offer practical communication and counseling interventions and strategies. Caregivers will confront their own attitude toward aging, and address how that translates into care giving behaviors. Cultural and societal issues will be addressed as they impact one's ability to deliver care.
